As you may have already heard, beauty salons have been allowed to reopen as of 13th July for limited services. This means that only services that do not involve work in the ‘highest risk zone’ (directly in front of the face) may be available.
As myself and members of my family are in ‘clinically vulnerable’ groups, according to the nhs guidelines, and because I run my business from home, I currently do not feel it is safe for Flourish to reopen.
My sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. The health, safety, and wellbeing of my customers and my family is my utmost priority, and this decision has been made in order to help prevent the spread of the virus and to keep everyone safe.
I will reassess the situation after the 1st August when the government has said they will ‘pause shielding unless the transmission of COVID-19 in the community starts to rise significantly’. I will continue to keep you apprised of any updates.
For those of you with valid gift vouchers, please don’t worry about the expiry date. I will happily honour all gift vouchers once Flourish is back up and running.
Thank you for your understanding.
